Whether you’re getting your first set, adding a second or third hole, or bringing your child in for their very first piercing, we approach every lobe the same way: proper jewelry, a single-use sterile needle, and placement that looks intentional.
What separates a lobe done here from a mall kiosk is the jewelry and the method. We strongly recommend implant-grade titanium flatback labret studs for all new piercings. Flatbacks sit flush against the lobe, don’t catch on hair or pillows, and heal significantly better than butterfly backs. We carry both — but flatbacks are what we encourage for the best healing outcome.

All initial lobe jewelry is implant-grade and threadless. The jewelry you start with directly affects how your piercing heals. We carry butterfly backs but strongly encourage flatbacks — they sit flush, don’t snag, and make for a smoother, more comfortable healing experience.
We use implant-grade ASTM F136 titanium and solid 14k gold only. We carry butterfly backs but encourage flatbacks for all new piercings — they heal better, feel better, and are easier to clean. No plated metals, no surgical steel, no mystery alloys.
Piercing your
child’s ears.
Children’s ear piercings are some of our most meaningful appointments. We understand that kids can be nervous — that’s completely normal, and we expect it. The child must verbally consent to the piercing before we proceed, every time. We take the time to talk to every child, explain what’s going to happen, and make them feel as comfortable as possible before we do anything.
If your child needs a few minutes to settle down, that’s fine — we’re patient. We work at whatever pace the child needs. That said, if a child becomes uncontrollable or unsafe during the process, we will stop. A piercing done under distress doesn’t heal well and isn’t fair to the child.
